New Christmas Shopping Itinerary Launched

Visit York has created a new festive shopping itinerary as part of this year’s Christmas in York campaign, designed to help visitors explore the city’s many shopping districts and discover everything York has to offer during the busy Christmas season. Developed and published on visityork.org, the guide encourages shoppers to move around the city, highlighting areas that provide their own unique atmosphere and seasonal experiences.

The itinerary features a wide range of locations, from well-known routes such as Coney Street, Parliament Street and the historic Shambles to characterful areas including Stonegate, Fossgate, Petergate, Micklegate and Bishopthorpe Road.
