Who are we?
Make It York is the city’s Destination Management Organisation. Our purpose is to develop and promote York – nationally and internationally – as an attractive and vibrant place to live, visit, study, work and do business. We carry out our activities under a number of different brands. These are Make It York, Make It York for Business, Visit York, VisitYork4Meetings and Science City York. Our main areas of work include tourism marketing (Visit York), Science and Innovation support (Science City York), city centre management, events and festivals, business support (Make It York for Business) and inward investment.
