York Tourism Intelligence Reports
To keep a regular snapshot of how York’s tourism sector is performing, we collect monthly data including:
- Hotel and Airbnb occupancy
- Average room rates
- Average revenue rates
- Visits to big and small attractions
- Visits to attraction with a York Pass
- Sessions on visityork.org
- Impressions and new followers on Visit York social media channels
- City centre footfall
- Visitor Information Centre footfall
Not only does this vital market intelligence track the health of tourism in the city and provide a timely snapshot of performance of the sector, but it helps you, as a member or partner of Visit York, to benchmark your own business performance.
Monthly data is also available to all Visit York members via T-Stats. For more information on T-Stats, please contact Helen Wilkinson, Research & Insight Specialist, email: email@example.com.
