Celebrate the Feast Day of Benedict of Nursia, founder of the Order of St Benedict.

Join us for a day of family-friendly activities as we explore the life and legacy of St Benedict and the Benedictine tradition that shapes daily life at Ampleforth Abbey. Children can enjoy a special themed trail, while families can learn more about the values that continue to guide the monastic community today.

Church & Grounds Open - Free Entry. Check online for service times.

Tea Room, Abbey Shop & Visitor Centre open 10.00-17.00 daily.
