About Us
A haven in the city, York Medical Society is a unique city centre venue with a private secluded garden and an interesting museum of medical instruments. Formerly the home of Tempest Anderson and an extensive building of many periods. 23 Stonegate offers welcoming, affordable, flexible and convenient facilities.

- Dedicated onsite catering
- Theatre Room – the main meeting room for larger gatherings. This room will seat up to 60 people lecture style, 48 in a formal dining layout or 35 cabaret style.
- Tempest Anderson Room – meetings, workshops and gatherings for up to 20 people and also provides added break out space for any functions in the Theatre Room
- Panelled Room – a space for refreshments and catering
- Secret Garden – our beautiful hidden gem of a garden is available to use for break time space when the weather permits
