The York on a Fork Food Tour
About Us
Enjoy the fruit of many years spent getting stuck into the York hospitality scene. Your host, Ben, has been writing about food and drink in York for around a decade as well as curating the event line up for York Food & Drink Festival and York Chocolate Festival. Additionally he works with The Guild of Fine Food as a coordinating judge for the national Great Taste Awards as well as judging a number of other local awards.
This tour takes advantage of that body of knowledge to take participants across the city, explaining a bit of its history, and sample six of the best independent places to eat with food at each stop and alcoholic drinks samples at two (alternatives available).
The tour lasts just over three hours and is taken at a gentle pace, traversing the city from north to south starting from York Art Gallery.
Please confirm any dietary requirements when booking.
