Merchant Taylors' Hall
About Us
A medieval gem in the heart of the City of York, built in the fifteenth century and beautifully preserved. An anchient oak roof covers the main Hall and adjacent is the panelled small Hall. Unique stained glass, pictures and architecture abound.
A magnificent venue in York for weddings, private dinners and events, concerts, banquets, meetings, exhibitions and conferences.
Nestled in its own grounds within the ancient walls of the City of York, the Merchant Taylors’ Hall is one of the most significant medieval buildings in this architecturally rich city and has been a place to congregate, feast, make music and make merry for more than 600 years.
We look forward to welcoming you.
