‘We’re Good To Go’
The ‘We’re Good To Go’ industry standard and supporting mark means businesses across the sector can demonstrate that they are adhering to the respective Government and public health guidance, have carried out a COVID-19 risk assessment and check they have the required processes in place.
The scheme is free to join and open to all businesses across the sector.
To obtain the mark businesses must complete a self-assessment through Visit Britain's online platform including a check-list confirming they have put the necessary processes in place, before receiving certification and the ‘We’re Good To Go’ mark for display in their premises and online.
TXGB
What is TXGB?
TXGB stands for Tourism Exchange Great Britain, and is a digital market place brought to you by VisitEngland. It is a tool designed to move customers from looking to booking, offering a way for tourism businesses to diversify their distribution. It also helps tourism providers to explore a wide range of bookable product to add to their programmes.
What does it do for me?
It allows your tourism business, to appear on a selection of distribution channels, domestically and internationally. These range from niche operators, to online travel agents, and destination websites like visityork.org. It can also allow you to make your own website bookable. Rather than replacing your own channels, will provide opportunities for you to fill your empty spaces.
What does it cost?
There is no cost to join TXGB. You pay 2.5% commission to Visit York, and a 2.5% booking fee to TXGB, each time a booking is made. You will receive customer payment immediately at time of booking.
