York Photo Walks are about learning and developing your photography knowledge, whilst exploring York's rich history, people, nature and architecture. Visit York members are invited to grab their camera and explore the sights of the city with York Photo Walks.
The aim is to inspire you to stretch your creative legs when you are out and about with your camera.
Whether you want to just learn the basics, or improve your photography skills the walk will have top tips for all abilities. Bring any camera whether it is a DSLR, Point and shoot, mobile or tablet camera. Learn how to see creatively, whilst encouraging you to see the world with an artistic eye.
The walk will last for 1.5 hours with a route as follows:
We will start at York Minster and walk a 360 around there and then make our way to the Museum Gardens taking in the Hospitium, St. Mary's Abbey and the Edible garden. Then make our way to the River Ouse and Lendal Bridge.
