About

Join us for Fungi Fest at the Castle Howard Arboretum, as we celebrate all things fungal and mushroomy.

Scientists from FERA will be turning the Tree Health Centre into a Mycology lab (a type of biology focused on the study of fungi) for the day, showing off fungi activities for everyone to take part in.
Join in a Fungi Foray – walk spotting different kinds of mushrooms in the Arboretum – in the morning.
A special walk spotting fungal diseases will be free to join in the afternoon.
More art activities and fungal fun to be announced.

Free to explore and take part in with Arboretum admission tickets, and for Members.

10am – 4pm
