​Join York textile artist Brenda from Felty and Fabulous for this fun and relaxing workshop, in the Orangery at Sledmere!

Want to learn how to needle-felt or to improve your skills? Come and create your very own Wildflower scene in this fun and relaxing 2.5 hour workshop with Brenda from Felty and Fabulous!

Brenda will teach you all the needle-felting skills you need to create your unique Wildflower image in the beautiful setting of the Orangery at Sledmere. Have-a-go at learning or improving a new skill, and enjoy the process of creating flowers by needle-felting. You will start by sketching your ideas and then learn 2D needle-felting techniques, using a vintage blanket as a base and then creating a picture to take home. There will also be the option to add further detail and embellishment with embroidery.

All equipment is provided, including a selection of gorgeous wool colours to choose from and the option to purchase a frame to mount your masterpiece.

Beginners and experienced needle-felters welcome - Brenda will guide you throughout to get the most out of the session.

Your ticket also includes entry into the Parkland and Gardens at Sledmere, so you can extend your day and take a stroll and explore after your workshop.
