Can dogs be off lead?

There are a few activities which allow dogs to be off lead. Dogs must be kept on a lead throughout the Gardens.

Is there parking?

Parking is not available at the venue. The closest carparks are Marygate, Bootham and Union Terrace Pay and Display Car Parks. York Park and Ride is a great option as the Gardens are within a 2-15 minute walk from many of the city centre drop off points. The Gardens are a 10 minute walk from York Station.

Will there be refreshments?

Yes! There will be plenty of food and drink vendors to choose from during your visit and water available for dogs.

Where are the toilets?

There will be toilet facilities available to use nearby.

Can I cancel my tickets?

Tickets for this event are non-refundable or transferable.

Is the event accessible?

Yes, York Museum Gardens are fully wheelchair and pushchair accessible. There are some slopes, but the ground is generally level with tarmac pathways throughout.

Is the event family friendly?

Yes! The event is open to all!
