Bring all the family and discover the abbey lit up after dark. Join a guided tour to find out more about the rich history of the abbey at 6pm & 7.15pm, or listen to a live choral performance at 6.30pm & 7.45pm. Tuck into tasty food in Mill Yard and enjoy the resounding Gregorian chant in Huby's tower.
New for 2026! Discover the story of Fountains Abbey & Studley Royal brought to life through striking projected animations cast onto the abbey ruins. As darkness falls, centuries of history will unfold across the stonework in a unique and immersive experience that celebrates this extraordinary place.

Opening Times:
Admission for Fountains by Floodlight will open at 5.00pm, with last admission at 8pm. This year entry for this event will be staggered and each ticket will have an allocated time slot for your arrival. Please note there is no access to the estate before your ticketed time slot and we recommend allowing 15 minutes to find a parking space and make your way through admissions. Last entry to the estate for daytime visitors will close, as usual, at 4:30pm. Admission for visitors with floodlighting tickets will open at 5:00pm.
