Join Head Gardener Jan for a relaxed, guided stroll through one of the garden’s most beloved areas, where rambling, climbing, and shrub roses bloom in lots of colours and scent. This is your opportunity to hear first-hand how we care for and cultivate these beautiful varieties of roses.
During the talk, you’ll enjoy a behind-the-scenes look at how we grow and maintain our stunning rose collections, with expert insight into different rose varieties, planting decisions, and seasonal care techniques. Along the way, you’ll hear stories from the dedicated Sledmere Gardens Team and have plenty of time to ask questions and explore your own rose-related curiosities.
Whether you're a keen gardener or simply love to stop and smell the roses, this talk offers a rare glimpse into the dedication and craft behind Sledmere’s glorious summer displays
