Alive After Five is York’s ultimate floating happy hour. Leaving the city centre behind at 18:00, we head downstream for a 60-minute loop that balances sightseeing with a social atmosphere. Our live captain’s commentary keeps things moving with facts and stories about the landmarks you pass, from the medieval walls to the peaceful outer reaches of the city.
The on-board bar is the heart of the experience, offering local refreshments at great prices with an exclusive 20% discount. With boarding starting at 17:30, you have plenty of time to grab a drink and find a spot on the open-top deck or in our comfortable, heated saloon. It is the most refreshing way to transition from the workday to the night ahead.
