If you bring a bike (or come by bike!) you're most welcome to enjoy our free led rides, taking you out into the glorious quiet lanes of the Yorkshire Wolds, to welcome cake stops or even to the coast. There's all sorts of rides, from super short and easy to major challenges.
All are welcome! The Yorkshire Cycle Festival is probably the UK's largest cycling event run 100% by volunteers. It brings together multipe all-volunteer cycling events - the York Cycle Rally (formerly held in York), the Retrobike Show (for classic MTBs and road bikes), the 20" Show (for Choppers, Grifters and BMX). Hundreds of clubs, exhibitors, enthusiasts and traders will be there to share their passion for bikes of all shapes and sizes - please join us!
Travelling from York? Driffield is about 30 miles east of York - travelling to Driffield Showground should take about 50 minutes by car and there's plenty of free parking when you arrive! By train, Driffield station is 15 minutes walk or 5 minutes by bike from the Showground. It’s served by direct trains from York every hour, and more frequently with changes. There are also a number of bus services. See here for full travel details.
