Can I book my event at King's Manor?

Do you have accommodation available for conferences?

Yes, from July - September. We offer single and double occupancy rooms and studios at multiple accommodation sites. Please contact events@yorksj.ac.uk for more information.

Do you cater for school groups / other large groups?

Yes - we have many large conference and events spaces on campus, and bedrooms for groups during the summer. Our in-house catering team can cater for large groups for all meals and events.

Do you have parking available onsite?

We have a limited number of first-come, first-served spaces available onsite for Blue Badge holders only. If you are attending an event onsite, vehicle registration numbers must be emailed to events@yorksj.ac.uk at least 48 hours prior to the event.

Is your venue accessible?

Yes, the majority of our buildings are fully accessible. When discussing your event, we can advise on the accessibility of rooms and buildings.

Which types of event can you host?

Everything from theatre productions, concerts and dance shows in our state-of-the-art Creative Centre Auditorium, to multi-day conferences in our lecture theatres and breakout spaces.

About Us

With a number of conference rooms, lecture theatres and performance spaces, our modern, city centre facilities are purpose built to meet the demands of contemporary events. Overlooking York’s iconic city walls, our venue is a short walk from York railway station and the city's historic centre. Whether you are planning a small day meeting, residential conference or performance, our experienced Events team will empower you to create an event that is custom tailored to your needs.

Our day and hourly room hire rates include complimentary use of our integrated, in-room presentation equipment. A full hospitality menu, ranging from refreshments to fine dining, is also available from our on-campus caterers.

Over summer months we also offer group accommodation at our city centre accommodation sites. Bedrooms are available on a room only, or catered basis, and are ideal for conference delegates and summer schools.
