SPARK* is a creative community space bringing together the freshest selection of independent businesses in York. We have the best street food, drinks, events, and independent pop-up retailers to keep the whole family (including four-legged friends) occupied. Inside you’ll also find a holistic therapy studio as well as a flexible co-working hub, a shared studio for resident artists, and a multipurpose events space.

We are located in the centre of York on Piccadilly, and open six days a week, Tuesday to Sunday – coffee and pastries from 9am, food and drinks from 12pm. Our venue is inclusive and fully accessible (lift available) – entry is free and there’s no need to book, simply turn up.

WORK Space
Our co-working space provides the perfect setting for freelancers and remote workers to focus, complete their projects and collaborate. We have daily and monthly passes available, and you can grab one of the 12 individual desks, all coming with sockets, great wifi, free tea and coffee and 10% discount from our traders. If you're booking with your friends or colleagues, we've also got 2 group desks that can be booked, and a break out area available for any collaboration, pondering or just taking a break. SHOW Space

At Spark, we want to support the local community as much as possible by offering a range of exciting spaces to accommodate all your needs. This includes a large multipurpose events space available for both private and public use. From screenings, meetings, workshops, birthdays, exhibitions, vintage markets, corporate events, rehearsals; it really is a blank canvas ready to be used! If you’re in need of somewhere to host your event in the heart of York city centre with fantastic catering options courtesy of our independent traders, then we’d be happy to help.
