Accessed from the ground floor, a private staircase leads up to the first floor where you’ll find a spacious open-plan kitchen, living, and dining area, light, comfortable, and perfect for relaxing after a day exploring the city. A further steep and narrow staircase leads to the upper floor, where the generous bedroom and bathroom are situated. The bedroom overlooks the street at the front of the property, but secondary glazing ensures a peaceful and restful night’s sleep.
Situated on vibrant Micklegate, the historic main gateway into the walled city and is known for its vibrant mix of independent bars and restaurants. You’ll find fantastic dining just moments from your door, including favourites such as Partisan and Skosh. York itself is brimming with excellent pubs, wine bars, and eateries, with many of the best right on your doorstep. Located within the historic city walls, 71 Micklegate is just a five-minute walk from both the train station and the city centre, making it the perfect base for exploring this beautiful and historic city.
