SPECIAL event - watch Rob Oldfield, Member of the Company, as he uses goldleaf to gild; learn about gilding and how is has been used in the Hall.
Learn about the life stories of tailors past. Enjoy a colouring activity for children. Refreshments will be available at our pop-up cafe.
Enjoy a "performance" of our newly commissioned Soundscape... exploring in sound the 600 year history of the Hall and the Company. Come along at any time - the Soundscape will be broadcast regularly throughout the day.
Explore this amazing building, a hidden gem in the heart of the City of York. It was built in the fifteenth century and has been beautifully preserved. An ancient oak roof covers the main Hall and the small Hall. You can view unique stained glass, pictures and architecture.
