Design and print a 2-colour one page zine of your very own. Learn about zine culture, the history of RISO, how the process works and how to design prints using analogue methods.

In this workshop, you will design and print a one page zine using Thin Ice Press's RISO printer. Learn how to design and make analog colour separations to create multi-coloured RISO prints. Each participant will design a one page zine (sometimes called a hot-dog book) with the help of North or Nowt, and print an edition of 10 copies to take away with you.

We'll cover a brief history of zine culture and RISO printing, techniques and approaches to designing for RISO and how to turn your print into a folded 8 page zine of your very own.
