Throughout 2026, we are marking the milestone anniversary of 20 years of The Black Swan at Oldstead. As part of these celebrations, we are delighted to welcome Giovanni Gaja, representing his family — the world-renowned producers behind Gaja wines — to The Black Swan on Friday 19th June for an exclusive dinner pairing their exceptional wines with Oldstead dishes.
Join us for a rare evening with one of Italy’s most influential winemaking families, as they guide guests through a selection of outstanding pours from across their wineries, showcasing the remarkable breadth, heritage and character of the Gaja portfolio.
This exclusive package includes an overnight stay in one of our beautiful bedrooms, along with a tasting menu for two at the Michelin-starred Black Swan at Oldstead with dinner accompanied by a pairing of six rare Gaja wines, including the opportunity to taste some of their top Barolos and Barbarescos, chosen especially for this event. After dinner, retire for a peaceful night’s sleep before enjoying a full Oldstead-style breakfast the following morning.

The Black Swan at Oldstead Opening Hours
We serve dinner Tuesday – Saturday between 6pm – 8pm.
Lunch is served on a Saturday between 12pm – 2pm.
