A 5 minute walk from York train station, our beautiful artisan distillery & lounge awaits...
Nestled in the heart of our historic and beautiful city. The Hooting Owl Distillery - Where history and gin blend together with myth, legend and magic to create an unforgettable experience.
Witness the alchemy as our Master Distiller, using recipes only known to him and one other, performs his craft and creates our world class gins, vodkas and rums, every drop of which is distilled here on site at the Hooting Owl. Sit back, relax and enjoy the opulent surroundings of our lounge bar where all 25 of our artisan spirits are available. Try our range of craft beers and lagers, savour one of our divine cocktails, fine wines or Proseccos or enjoy something tasty from our menu.
If you're looking for a unique and memorable experience, our distillery tours are a great way to spend quality time with family and friends while sampling our range of artisan spirits. Tours run at 2pm Monday to Saturday and 7pm Monday to Thursday. For more information and tour booking click Here

If you don't have time to visit in person but would still like to enjoy our products, we have an online retail Shop where all our artisan spirits can be purchased.
