About Us
Visit the National Railway Museum for a day out like no other!
Not only do we have icons of the railway and thousands of railway related objects, we also have Wonderlab: The Bramall Gallery a special interactive experience for families and the Flying Scotsman VR Experience, where you can see the famous locomotive’s story come to life around you. Visitors can see amazing rail vehicles including Mallard, the world’s fastest steam locomotive and step back into the 1970s Japan as you climb aboard the Japanese ‘bullet train’.
Wonderlab: The Bramall Gallery, our brand-new interactive experience for families opens 27 July 2023. Enter a world of endless possibilities and play your way through 18 mind-bending challenges, testing your engineering skills together. Step into the human wind tunnel, launch a rocket and build big, there's so much to explore! Be amazed by our live shows, and discover science in action with our explosive live experiments.
