Collect a checklist from the Visitor Information Centre on Parliament Street and see if you can spot them all. Make sure you return to the Visitor Information Centre to claim a trail sticker and a chance to win an amazing prize from the Award Winning Wizard Walk of York: a Family Wizard Tour and 'The Wizarding World - Hogwarts' Print (RRP £30) from Staves Art.
The owls have been designed by illustrator and artist Rosalyn Burrows, known for her quirky designs and playful style.
Monday 28th through to Friday 1st November (all five days) there is also an opportunity to see real life owls in person thanks to York Bird of Prey Centre at St Crux Church. Bird experiences are charged.
