A Promenade Through the City

Led by the infantry of His Majesty's 33rd Regiment of Foot, resplendent in their redcoat uniforms, this year’s York Georgian Festival promenade will again recreate the fashionable 18th century practice of strolling through smart city streets and parks in a proud display of status.

Dress in your finest Georgian attire as we come together to celebrate this tradition and take a leisurely stroll from Clifford’s Tower to York Mansion House.
