About
This poignant exhibition for Holy Week presents a deeply personal and reflective series of Stations of the Cross by artist Sarah Sharpe.
Inspired by her experience as the mother of an adult child with a brain injury, Sarah paints the Passion from a mother’s perspective. Through her work, she reflects on Mary witnessing the suffering of her innocent son, offering a powerful and intimate meditation on love, sorrow and faith.
Sarah is a member of the Society of Catholic Artists and an elected member of the Manchester Academy of Fine Art and the Leeds Fine Artists. Her work invites visitors into a space of contemplation during one of the most sacred seasons of the Christian year.
