We've hired a paranormal exterminator to remove any troublesome spirits lurking in the Haunted Hall, but we need the help of some fearless recruits.
Are you brave enough to banish these mysterious ghosts?!
Did you know that York is said to sit on a paranormal nexus, a place where the boundary between our world and the spirit world is at its thinnest? For reasons no one can explain, those boundaries have weakened even further, and the spirits of York's past have descended upon Barley Hall.
No previous ghost-hunting experience is required, just plenty of courage! Each ghost-hunting adventure lasts approximately 45 minutes and is recommended for brave hunters aged 6 and above.

Please note: This event is not suitable for children under 6. All children must be accompanied by an adult.
Accessibility:
Due to the historic nature of the building, Barley Hall has raised thresholds throughout. A temporary ramp provides access to the Great Hall and the Steward’s Room. Public toilets are available; however, there are no accessible toilets on site
