Join Andrew Leighton, Head Gardener, on a tour of the kitchen garden. The Head Gardener and Head Chef work closely together to ensure garden produce is available for Chef's seasonal menus. Join this guided tour with a focus on growing fruit and vegetables, with particular emphasis on providing for the hotel kitchens, and gain insight and tips for your own garden.
The tour will be followed by Afternoon Tea with a glass of bubbly. that provides much of the hotel's seasonal fruit and vegetables, followed by full Afternoon Tea.
2:00pm Arrive for tea or coffee and biscuits
Take a guided tour of Middlethorpe's gardens to learn how Head Gardener Andrew Leighton and his team of National Trust volunteers work to create year round colour.
4:00pm The garden tour will be followed by Afternoon Tea with a glass of bubbly.
Ends 5:30pm
A change of shoes is recommended.
