All ages welcome (Children 18 months and over require a seat, babes in arms under 18 months sitting on adult's lap do not need a ticket)

EVERYONE shall go to the ball with this year’s Relaxed Performance of York’s sparkling musical pantomime, Cinderella!

The Relaxed Performance, which takes place on Friday 2nd January, has elements of the pantomime adapted to reduce anxiety or stress. It’s especially popular with audience members who prefer a less formal atmosphere, such as those on the autism spectrum, those with a learning disability, and very young children who have never visited a theatre. Tickets are available to book for anyone who would benefit from a more relaxed atmosphere!

During this performance, adjustments will be made including a cast introduction, lighting remaining at a low level in the auditorium, flashing and strobe lighting removed, sound levels lowered, and loud bangs removed. The atmosphere in the auditorium will be relaxed and audience members can feel free to move around and make noise. There will also be a chill-out room available, if anyone needs to leave the auditorium at any time.
