The Deathly Dark Tours run award-winning comedy horror / ghost walks in the heart of York, a city believed to be the most haunted in all of Europe.

The Deathly Dark Tour of York
Together you will walk the streets and talk of some foul and festering things; The night a madman tried to burn down York Minster, a shadowy figure in the alley and the tragic haunting of Bedern Slums. A different kind of tour, for those looking to experience the darker side of York with a grim sense of humour.
Suitable for couples, solo travellers and families of all ages. The tour will run whatever the weather and dogs are welcome! All tour times will be listed in full on the website but if you have any queries, please do give us a call on 07851 032 041.
Deathly by Daylight
Our daytime, summer tour. You’ll visit many of the cities famous landmarks, as well as some more secret spots. Along the way you’ll be guided through some pretty horrible history by Dalton or Dorian Deathly. Unsolved murders, public executions, mysterious Bile Beans and much more. You may never see York the same way again!
This tour is recommended for guests aged 13+, but we will happily welcome well-behaved younger travellers who are familiar with the more gruesome parts of history.

Opening Times
Office Hours 11am - 9:30pm Every day with rare exception.
We also have a booking office and spooky shop which is open most days from 3-8pm and is located at 4 Grape Lane, York YO1 7HU.
Ghost tours run every night, with additional times most nights. Daytime tours have a varied schedule - consult website for more details.
