A nineteenth century, historic inn transformed into a cosy, relaxed country pub with bedrooms, overlooking the historic ruins of Byland Abbey in North Yorkshire. Serving a seasonal menu created by Head Chef Charlie Smith, and Chef Director Tommy Banks, alongside an excellently curated drinks list from real hand-pumped local ales to seasonal cocktails.
There's evolving, seasonal menus that champion classic, British food, with an added unique Oldstead style. Whether you’re enjoying a pint and some bar snacks next to the fire, or experiencing our full menu there’s something for everyone.
