Felted Yarns is an artwork and craft business run by Katy Small - artist; maker and teacher. Katy has taught Art and Textiles for 24 years in high schools. She took the leap last year to set up and run her own art / craft business. You can find more information on her website and social media.

Katy creates beautiful artwork using the ancient craft of wet felting. Wet felting blends and felts Merino wool fibres like painting. Most of her work is inspired by the wonderful Yorkshire countryside which surrounds her home near Wetherby, West Yorkshire. She uses the same processes and techniques to make hats; scarves; bags and kits. All of her work is available through her website or by emailing her directly. On Thursdays, she can be found on the market selling a small selection of her work.
