Plan Ahead
To make the most of your visit, you will definitely need to plan ahead. Things will be a bit different on your next trip as many experiences require pre-booking, opening times may vary and social distancing measures will be in place. Please go online and check out the websites of the attractions, shops, restaurants and hotels that you plan to visit.

As you start to build your York itinerary ahead of your visit, you may have noticed the ‘We’re Good to Go’ logo (pictured above). Businesses presenting the logo will have been awarded this by VisitEngland as a means of reassuring you that a high standard of measures are in place, following Government and public health guidance. Watch our brand-new video explaining how the city is working to keep you safe. All businesses that are open will have their own measures in place, so we advise you to go online and find out more about their own standards.
