York’s historic streets came alive for York Ice Trail 2025, where visitors discovered secrets of origins long forgotten and tales yet to be told.
As people wandered through the city, they uncovered the theme of "Origins," with stunning ice sculptures inspired by legends, myths, and York's rich history. Live ice carving brought these stories to life, and interactive experiences delighted visitors of all ages. Attendees also had the chance to win exciting prizes along the way.
When it was time to refuel, many indulged in the finest food-to-go at Shambles Food Court. And for those needing assistance on their icy quest, the friendly team at the Visitor Information Centre on Parliament Street was there to guide them every step of the way.
