About
Held in the heart of York, on Parliament Street, The Yorkshire Craft Festival-Spring! will take place between 7th-12th April
The festival will give space to regional designer makers and craft groups to celebrate the varied range of modern and traditional craft skills, our amazing region has to offer.
The Festival will play host to a variety of demonstrations and craft workshops designed to educate, inspire and give opportunity to budding crafters. Alongside the demonstration pop-up marquees we will be hosting our Made in Yorkshire craft show, showcasing some of the best arts and craft from around the region.
Demonstrations and Workshops
The Yorkshire Craft Festival will also feature a series of small pop-up marquees, erected in front of the main marquee, which will house on-going demonstrations and workshops from the following:

Are you a school or college and want to get involved?
Made in Yorkshire will also be inviting local schools and colleges to get involved in the festival. We will be encouraging art teachers and students to create street art installations which we will put on display at the festival.
We will be supplying schools and colleges with a series of blank "discs" on which we will be encouraging their students to create a group of themed paintings- to showcase and celebrate young artistic talent!
Themes can be be anything they want: Sport? Pop Art? The Environment? Music? Nature?
Each installation will have a little blurb about the school, their students and what inspired their installation.
