The Vikings have once again taken over York city centre! Don’t worry, though – they’re not here to loot and plunder. Instead, they’ve set up camp on Parliament Street, ready to give you a glimpse of Viking life.

Join them throughout the day to discover traditional Viking crafts, including pottery, leatherworking and woodworking. Find out how the Vikings navigated the world and what made their boats so special. You might even catch a blacksmith at work or channel your inner Norse warrior with face painting and hair braiding.
