Learn how to create simple books with hard and soft covers. This practical, hands-on workshop is an ideal introduction to bookbinding and a great foundation for more advanced projects.
You'll learn how to sew a single section, construct different types of cover, and assemble your book from start to finish, leaving with your own handmade hard and soft cover notebooks.
This workshop is suitable for anyone with some bookbinding experience, as well as beginners. All equipment and materials will be provided, and lunch and refreshments are included.
This workshop forms part of a three-workshop series, alongside Multi-Section Binding with Hard Covers on Saturday 19 September and Bookbinding: Slipcases on Saturday 24 October.
