Kitchen Garden: The Head Gardener and Head Chef work closely together to ensure garden produce is available for Chef's seasonal menus. Join this guided tour with a focus on growing fruit and vegetables, with particular emphasis on providing for the hotel kitchens. The tour will be followed by Afternoon Tea with a glass of bubbly.
Arrive for 2:00pm for tea or coffee and biscuits
Take a guided tour of Middlethorpe's gardens to learn how Head Gardener Andrew Leighton and his team of National Trust volunteers work to create year round colour. Andrew will highlight the growing of fruit and vegetables for the hotel's kitchens.
The garden tour will be followed at ca 4pm by Afternoon Tea with a glass of bubbly.
