About
Join us for a free concert in our wonderful medieval Hall and celebrate Lunar New Year and the skill of York’s East Asian Youth Ensemble.
Conductor Paul Feehan will lead local musicians aged from 8 to 18 as they play a range of musical delights including Jasmine Flower, La Cathédrale Engloutie by Debussy, One Summer’s Day by Hisaishi, and much more. The performance will last 45 minutes.
Enjoy this amazing building, a hidden gem in the heart of the City of York. It was built in the fifteenth century and has been beautifully preserved. An ancient oak roof covers the Great Hall and the Blue Hall.
If you are planning a wedding or other celebration, come and have a look and see if the Hall could be the right place for your event.
