Step into the festive season at The Grand, York.

Join us for an evening of carols and winter treats as the hotel lights up for our annual Christmas Light Switch-On.

Arrive for 5 pm and settle in as a local Yorkshire Voices Choir fills the air with seasonal favourites. Then the countdown begins, and the Christmas lights glow to life across the hotel.

Warm your hands around a mulled wine or hot chocolate from our festive stalls, and treat yourself to homemade crumble and loaded doughnuts fresh from our chefs.

When the chill sets in, head inside. The 1906 Bar will be mixing a selection of festive cocktails, while The Rise Restaurant opens its doors for a relaxed seasonal dinner, a lovely way to round off the night with family and friends.

Throughout the evening, you can enter our charity raffle and meet the team from Cash for Kids, the charity we are supporting this year. They will be on hand to share more about their work and this year’s initiative.

We can’t wait to celebrate the start of the festive season with you.
