About
Get ready to celebrate the 10th anniversary of our Dark Skies Festival with an out-of-this-world stargazing event at Sutton Bank on Saturday 22 February!
Join experienced astronomers Richard Darn and Neill Sanders as they guide you through the wonders of our skies with powerful telescopes and binoculars. Spot breathtaking planets like Venus, Jupiter, and Mars, and discover the secrets of the universe up close through expert equipment.
There will be an engaging talk inside our Nature and Star Hub to begin, including a beginner-friendly guide to the cosmos and tips on catching the Northern Lights.
Then, see space rocks that are billions of years old, and receive expert advice on choosing your own astro equipment while we look up and seek the stars above outside our Nature and Star Hub.
This unmissable event and is perfect for adults and budding stargazers aged 6 and over.
Don't miss this chance to explore the night sky in an International Dark Sky Reserve.
