After an absence of several years we are delighted that Fiona Calder will be back in 2024 to exhibit her delightful floral pieces.
Fiona’s artwork celebrates her passion for flowers and foliage, she finds never ending inspiration in their delightful colours and beautiful shapes.
Her joyful pieces depict fanciful meadows and whimsical gardens, using vibrant colours and charming compositions.
Working from her studio in the heart of the picturesque city of York, she brings her floral creations to life through an interesting fusion of fineliner illustration, paints, pastels and digital collage.
The art exhibitions are located in the tea room and are open to the public during regular garden opening times. Admission to the tea room and art exhibitions are free. The works of art will be available to purchase, please ask at the entrance hut.
The exhibition will be open every Wednesday and Friday throughout June, as well as the second (8th,8th) and third weekend (15th, 16th). The tearoom and garden are open from 1pm to 5pm.
Stillingfleet Lodge Gardens Opening Hours
Stillingfleet Lodge Garden will be opening for the summer on Wednesday 3rd April 2024 until Friday 27th September, every Wednesday and Friday afternoon plus the first and third weekends of each month. Open from 13:00 to 17:00 on each of these days. Please note in June 2024 the garden will be closed on the 1st and 2nd but open on the 8th and 9th instead.
