York Proms
About Us
Founded in 2017, The York Proms is a flag-waving, foot-tapping picnic concert in the heart of historic York featuring The Yorkshire Festival Orchestra, top soloists and a firework finale. Pack a picnic or enjoy some on site catering as you listen to performances of some of the most wonderful music ever written, overlooked by the 1000 year old ruins of St Mary’s Abbey and the imposing façade of the Yorkshire Museum.
