Sutton Bank National Park Centre
About Us
For a great free day out, head to Sutton Bank National Park Centre, less than 30 miles north of York.
Find out all your need to know about the National Park, explore the Nature Lab- an interactive exhibition, peruse the gift shop or relax in the Park Life Café.
Outside, soak up England’s finest view on easy walking trails or head out on two wheels along the new, spectacular Sutton Bank cliff edge family cycle route or 300 metre pump track. Little ones will love the adventure play area, with quirky treehouses, stone castle, three magical stone roundhouses, the large sandpit, mud kitchen and go log clambering over the 'swamp'.
Discover life above and beneath your feet at the Nature and Star Hub. There's a bird station and lots of information about what you can spot at Sutton Bank. For stargazers, explore the changing skies on our rotating dark skies drum or book an evening event with a dark skies expert.
Follow our Facebook page for regular updates and information.
