Race Across the World: The Experience in York has got off to a roaring start with hundreds of players already able to say they’re on the leaderboard.
As an official live experience of the hit TV show, each Race Across the World experience is unique to the city it’s based in: York is no exception.
Locals will recognise plenty of iconic landmarks but they’ll also stumble across plenty of hidden gems they’ve never even glanced at. And for those visiting this venerated city for the first time, prepare to see it like never before.
No maps. No public transport. Race Across the World: The Experience is an adventure where teamwork, quick thinking and strategy are what really matter. Expect twists and turns on every leg, and teams decide whether to play competitively or at their own pace.
In teams of 2-8 players, teams will use a virtual, in-game budget to buy directions, solve physical escape room-style puzzles and finally, sign the elusive guest book. Race across three sensational checkpoints around the city, and soak up centuries of secrets in a whole new way.
Follow clues, race friends or rivals, and top the leaderboard in the pursuit of glory.
