Visit The York Dungeon this Half Term!

Are you Brave Enough?

Journey back through 2000 Years of York's darkest History during February Half Term as you see, hear and (ahem) smell the city's murky past!

Prepare to come face to face with the mighty Vikings and learn all about their Saxon enemies before meeting some of York’s most notorious characters including the (in)famous Dick Turpin and local witch Isabella Billington as history is brought to life before your eyes.

Feel the dark shadows of the black plague and experience the fearsome torture chamber as you laugh, learn and scream your way through the city's most ‘orrible history!

With live actors, dark history, immersive sets and Dick Turpin carriage ride finale…the only question is are you brave enough to step into the depths of the York Dungeon?

Younger peasants must be aged 5 and over however the York Dungeon is not recommended for under 8's.
