Frequently asked questions

What is included in the discount?

Adult tickets are £7.50 (usually £15) and child/concession tickets are £3.75, for the 7.30pm walk on any date between Wednesday 19 and Sunday 23 August. Half the usual toll, no dark magic required.

How do I book?

Simply follow the link to our Eventbrite page and select the "York Attractions Week" ticket for your chosen date. The witch does the rest.

Who qualifies for the concession price?

Children, students, over-65s and disabled visitors.

Is this walk suitable for children?

The walk is recommended for ages 14 and over, due to jump scares and darker storytelling elements. Children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult at all times during the walk.

Does the offer apply to all walk times?

There's one walk each evening at 7.30pm, running Wednesday 19 to Sunday 23 August. The discount applies to any of these dates, subject to availability.

Is there a booking deadline?

Bookings close 8 hours before each walk, so by 11.30am on the day. We'd recommend booking early as evening walks are popular.
