This festive season, join us at Roots for Sunday 'Feastivities' – our celebration of Christmas through the flavours of Yorkshire and the preserving techniques that shape our cooking in Oldstead.

Created for long lunches and lingering afternoons around the table, our festive feast begins with a choice of seasonal starters, served alongside Wild Garlic Honey Brioche and cultured butter for sharing.

At the centre of the table, Roasted Salt-Aged Sirloin of Beef is served with a generous spread of festive accompaniments, from Yorkshire puddings and beef dripping roast potatoes to pigs in blankets with preserved wild garlic, truffled Tunworth cauliflower cheese, spruce honey roasted roots and rich bone marrow gravy. For those looking to make the feast even more indulgent, our Beer-Braised Ox Cheek Yorkshire Pudding is available as an extra.

To finish, Sticky Parsnip Pudding with Woodruff Butterscotch and Clotted Cream Ice Cream offers a comforting finale – a celebration of the season, done the Roots way.
