Come and visit the medieval Hall of the Company of Merchant Taylors in York. Learn about the Company and enjoy this unique building, free of charge.

Open 10am to 4pm on Sunday 26th January 2025.

Explore this amazing building, a hidden gem in the heart of the City of York. It was built in the fifteenth century and has been beautifully preserved. An ancient oak roof covers the main Hall and the small Hall. You can view unique stained glass, pictures and architecture.

Enjoy Tea & Cake in this lovely Hall with all the proceeds of sale going to help with the cost of preserving the Hall.

You can also find out about the Company of Merchant Taylors in York, its traditions and the life of tailors past.
